Holi – The Festival of Colours
HOLI is an Indian festival to celebrate spring, love and the victory of good over evil, also known as the "Festival of colours". At Solvina, we organized Holi celebration and enjoyed the day with colleagues by playing with colours, handshake with a hug and nonetheless, with a delicious Indian breakfast (Samosa, Namak Para and Tea). It’s the best way to add sweetness to the relationship, by sharing different cultures.
Solvina invited to Mumbai
Solvina was invited to Mumbai to give a presentation to delegates from 38 factories in the Aditya Birla Group on the topic: ”Improved reliability for co-gen plants, by optimizing the dynamic performance”, on how Refineries, Pulp and Paper mills, Aluminum smelters and other heavy process industries, supplied by co-gen plants, can really benefit from a combination of advanced desktop dynamic simulations and live tests and tuning in order to increase the reliability of the steam and power generation. Presented by Peter Dahlström, Senior Advisor and Specialist in Dynamics & Control.
Safety and quality assurance of the TVO OL3 project
The Solvina team enjoys the winter sun and the “sisu” in the project at the site of TVO´s OL3. The new power plant will produce approximately 1600 MW of reliable and climate-friendly electricity. Solvina supports the OL3 project finalization and takeover preparations since 2013. The support consists of I&C Safety/Quality Assurance and Demonstration (SQAD), developing the overall Configuration Management (CM) and Design Authority function as well as Operational Readiness capabilities preparations and assessments. We are proud to take part in this challenging and important project with fantastic TVO, Finland to strengthen the Nordic power system with both dependable and environmentally adapted electricity production.
